Exploring Knowledge, Experience, Reflection, and the Journey Towards Wisdom

NCBA&E Alhamra University Bahawalpur Sub-Campus organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “Sources of Wisdom: From Knowing Nothing to Knowing More,” providing participants with an opportunity to explore the relationship between knowledge, experience, critical thinking, and wisdom.

The discussion was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nawaz Kawish. Opening the discussion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam Adeeb explored major sources of wisdom, including religion, books, knowledge, experience, observation, critical thinking, creativity, and self-awareness. He highlighted how these sources contribute to an individual’s intellectual and personal development.

Building on the discussion, Dr. Aamir Nazir raised important questions about what makes knowledge meaningful and why certain experiences and disciplines are considered sources of wisdom. He also encouraged participants to reflect on the sources of negativity and harmful influences that can distort judgment and undermine the responsible use of knowledge.
