NCBA&E Alhamra University, Bahawalpur Sub-Campus, organized an informative seminar at the Seminar Room, District Police Lines Bahawalpur, to promote higher education and professional development among police officers. The session aimed to raise awareness about the importance of lifelong learning and the educational opportunities available through the university's strategic collaborations with law enforcement agencies.
The seminar was conducted by Dr. Aamir Nazir, Associate Professor, who delivered an insightful presentation on the role of higher education in strengthening professional competence, ethical values, leadership, and decision-making within the police service. He emphasized that continuous education is essential for developing skilled professionals capable of addressing the evolving challenges of modern law enforcement.
During the session, Dr. Aamir Nazir also briefed the participants on the Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed between NCBA&E Alhamra University and the Regional Police Office (RPO) Bahawalpur, District Police Office (DPO) Bahawalpur, and the Regional Office of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Bahawalpur. He highlighted the educational benefits available under these agreements, including tuition fee concessions, academic programs, and opportunities for professional advancement for police personnel and their eligible family members.
The participants were also introduced to the university's diverse academic offerings, scholarship opportunities, admission procedures, and student support services. An interactive discussion allowed attendees to ask questions and gain a comprehensive understanding of the educational pathways available to them.
Ms. Ayesha Asghar, Social Media Manager, was also present during the session and contributed to the successful organization of the event.
